  1. Cheese
  2. Toppings (I used tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and basil on this particular day)
  3. Fresh garlic
  4. Italian seasonings (basil, oregano, thyme, etc.)
  5. EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Place Flatout on lightly greased (sprayed) cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for 2 minutes and remove from oven.
  4. Flip and brush with EVOO, smashed garlic and sprinkle with Italian seasonings.
  5. Return to oven and bake for 2 minutes.
  6. If desired, saute vegetables such as mushrooms, onions, etc.
  7. Remove from oven and apply desired toppings such as sauce, sauteed vegetables and additional seasonings.
  8. Don't forget the cheese, if that suits your fancy! 🙂
  9. Bake for 4 - 7 minutes. Broil on high for 1 additional minute, if you want extra crispy edges and golden cheese.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil and enjoy.

I made this tonight and it is a wonderful healthy version of pizza! I do have one critique though. 1-2 green containers is ridiculous for the size of a flat out and so is a red if you use pepperoni! My pizza was heaping of toppings and I just used one container of red and one of green.

Glad you like it! It really depends on your toppings. I add one full green of fresh spinach and it wilts down nearly flat. Then mushrooms and sauteed onions on top of that, mmm.

Just made this tonight and loved it! I added a red of chicken sausage cut into small pieces, 1.5 blue of mozz chz, just a bit of organic marinara sauce, and 1 green of sautéed mushrooms and onions. Cooked with some oregano, basil, and garlic. Can’t wait to try it again with diff toppings, thank you!!

    • Jean says:

Whole grain or multi grain. Just make sure it’s not “enriched” or “bleached” flour. Whole grains are best.

Can I make this the night before and refrigerate it for the next day’s lunch without it becoming a total soggy mess? I barely have enough time in the morning to get dressed as it is!
